In the context of the Coronavirus Covid-19 spread, a certain number of measures have been taken by the Government and different administrations to adapt to the situation.
You will find on this page information on various topics which are not directly related to your studies or research.

Isère Préfecture and Drôme Préfecture

The on-campus Isère Préfecture office, the Isère Préfecture and the Drôme Préfecture are closed to the public until further notice.

Appointments are cancelled and other procedures (residence permit card collections, récépissé renewals, duplicates, temporary authorization of stay applications etc.) are suspended.

CROUS Grenoble Alpes


Accommodation – student residences
All CROUS student residences stay open, but students who can are invited to return home, whether in France or abroad.
If you had to leave, or must leave your accommodation, the one-month notice mentioned in your contract will not be applied. You will not have to pay for the rent as of April 1st, and until your return. However, to benefit from the suspension of your rent payment, you must inform the Crous of your departure and contact your student residence by email as quickly as possible.

If you have stayed, it is recommended to pay for your rent online.
More generally, please contact your residence by telephone or by email.

Restaurants and cafeterias
All restaurants and cafeterias are closed until further notice.

Social services
The service remains available for the most urgent requests, such as financial aids.
Appointments with social workers will be telephone appointments only.
You can make an appointment online, https://mesrdv.etudiant.gouv.fr/fr, or contact the social service directly :

In Valence : by email to odile.mery@crous-grenoble.fr, or djamila.ababsa@crous-grenoble.fr

Two types of aids are available, hygiene and food vouchers, and punctual financial aid. If you are facing difficulties, please contact the social service.

Traffic has decreased to adapt to the situation, but hasn’t stopped.
You can find the traffic conditions directly on the public transport websites.

Health advice and useful numbers


University health centres in Grenoble
The campus health center remains open to provide medical care for urgent situations.
Psychological support can also be offered.
The city center health center has closed.
You can call between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, 04.76.82.40.70 : a health professional will answer and guide you.

‘Centre Santé Jeunes’ in Valence
The Youth Health Centre (‘Centre Santé Jeunes’) remains open, but is changing address as of Thursday 26 March:
Pôle santé de la ville, 4 rue du clos gaillard, in Valence.
Consultations by appointment only.
Consultations with the Point Relais Oxygène psychologist by telephone appointment only.
