Université Grenoble Alpes has created a website entirely dedicated to the start of the academic year for students, where you can find all the information that you need for a good start of this academic year, and know more about the sanitary measures.

Info sessions for new students


Everything you need to know to get settled: visa validation, healthcare system, mandatory insurances, opening of a bank account, etc.
New: ISSO also organizes live webinars throughout September.

Agents are there to welcome and help you with some of the different online procedures you need to follow upon arrival :
  • Applying for CAF housing allowance
  • Registering with the health insurance
  • Applying for the Visale guarantor
  • Activating your iZly account…
From September 2 to October 23, 2020, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
On the ground floor of the tour Irma, on the St-Martin-d’Hères campus.
10 persons maximum at a time, agents included.
In order to avoid to wait if there were already 10 persons, you can make an appointment online.

Wearing a face mask

Wearing a face mask is mandatory both inside university buildings AND outside on the Saint-Martin-d’Hères campus, as well as in the city centers of Grenoble and Valence.
