Public transport

TAG in Grenoble - "Tarification solidaire" (solidarity-based fare system)

The solidarity-based fare system ("tarification solidaire") entitles you to reduced fares depending on your resources and situation.

In particular, you can benefit from the "tarification solidaire" if:
  • You are a student: on a scholarship (CROUS scholarship based on social criteria), receiving the ASA ("Aide spécifique Annuelle"), or benefiting from the 1€ meal scheme (in CROUS university restaurants).
  • You are a CAF beneficiary: the amount shown on your "quotient familial" certificate will determine the solidarity-based pricing formula you are eligible for.
Please note: if you are under 25 years of age, you will also need to present a French tax certificate in addition to your "quotient familial" certificate. In this case, you will only be able to benefit from the "tarification solidaire" from the second year of residence in France, and once you have obtained a tax notice.
  • You are a beneficiary of "Complémentaire Santé Solidaire".
  • You are applying for asylum.
Before going to a Mobility agency, we advise you to consult the TAG website for more information on the situations in which you can access the "tarification solidaire", and the documents you need to provide.
