Food and agriculture are the subject of numerous cultural and political mobilizations in Brazil. Women are at the forefront of the struggles for food sovereignty, food culture and agroecology. A mouthwatering encounter to explore these issues!

To the discover the issues facing Brazil’s ecosystems and food culture, come join the discussion around the video testimonials of three women: Fernanda Kaingáng, Verônica Santana and Tainá Marajoara. They describe their actions in the fight for food culture, family farming, agro-ecology, food sovereignty and the food heritage of Brazil’s traditional, indigenous people and farmers.

This will be followed by discussions led by a collective of charity groups from Grenoble, and a tasting session of Brazilian and Columbian delicacies.

Free admission, limited seating (50 people).

This event is organized in the framework of the "Growing farmers' rights" project (Green Grenoble), including a videoconference cycle ("Women at the frontline of food sovereignty") and the "Cultivons les Droits paysans" exhibition at the Maison de l'International.
