UGA recently welcomed three delegations from its Japanese strategic partner, the University of Tsukuba, with the aim of deepening collaboration in the fields of education, student exchanges and research.
Made up of Hana Nozawa, coordinator of inter-university exchange projects, Akiko Daitoku, head of the academic affairs section, and Kaori Kobayashi, member of the European collaboration support team, the University of Tsukuba delegation met several UGA members on February 10 and 11, 2025, to develop the exchange program at Master's level in science and engineering.
In order to prepare the launch of the digital infrastructure consortium between Japan and the European Union, Sakurai Takeaki, Director of International Relations, was in Grenoble on March 10 and 11, 2025.
On March 24, represented by Professors Hiroko Isoda, Mitsutoshi Nakajima and Islam Muhammad Monirul, as well as Dr Farhana Ferdousi and Dr Kiyokazu Kawada from the ARENA (Alliance for Research on the Mediterranean and North Africa) research center, the University of Tsukuba was on site to identify potential collaborations in the fields of biotechnology and plant-based pharmaceuticals.
