Ever since its creation, the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) has been committed to the promotion of culture and science in the French-speaking world.
A clear commitment
As a full member of the Agence universitaire de la francophonie (AUF), and a key partner of Campus France (the number of foreign French-speaking students coming to Grenoble is increasing rapidly), the UGA encourages cooperation projects built jointly with counterparts in Africa, Asia and Canada that aim to build higher education capacities in third-party countries, support training activities for trainers, and contribute to innovation in educational engineering in the context of digital transformation.
Numerous research projects, mobility programs and summer schools promoting socially-responsible French-speaking culture and science have come into being thanks to regional, national and European support.
These projects are underpinned not just by dialog among disciplines, but above all by the dissemination of languages, cultures and knowledge in a spirit of sharing, respect and mutual support.
