Internationalization activities within the study programs

Welcoming more than 8500 international students, and receiving and sending nearly 2000 people on international missions each year, the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) interacts on a daily basis with the international community. In addition to offering its own students opportunities to study abroad, the UGA is keen to reinforce the international dimension of its programs through various other initiatives.

Collaborative online learning

In the course of projects already integrated into their respective classes, lecturers at various universities organize remote interaction between their groups of students. Without creating a new teaching activity, they design this interaction in the context of course syllabus outlines in collaboration with international partners.

Short-term mobility projects

Using flexible models within its course plans, such as supervised projects, the UGA proposes projects involving interaction with the international community, in some cases coupled with short periods of student mobility.

Here are some examples of this type of activity:
> One month based at an oasis to complete a research project in the desert
> Bound for Amsterdam: an international cultural and academic experience for students at the Vienne IUT!
