Ice Memory
Research, Sustainable development
Taking action today, to create an ice heritage and preserve the memory of our past.
Our goal is to create a global sanctuary of glacial archives in Antarctica, a land of science and peace, to preserve ice cores from the world's major endangered glaciers. Scientists in the decades and centuries to come will thus still have quality raw material to explore and lead to the discoveries of the future.
"In the coming decades and even centuries, these samples will be of inestimable value: for totally new scientific discoveries or for understanding local changes in the environment. I fully support this project."
