Childcare options

There are a number of childcare options for children who are still too young to go to school (under the age of 3): group daycare, childminders, in-home child care, and drop-in daycare centers.

Children’s schooling and education

In France, education is compulsory for children from the ages of 3 to 16, irrespective of where they come from, their gender and how long they have been in France.
