Pick up your residence permit
Once your application has been approved by the Isère or Drôme Préfecture, a residence permit is being issued.
Each Prefecture has its own procedures for picking up your new permit.

The information below only applies for the following residence permits:
- "Étudiant" or "Étudiant - Programme Mobilité"
- "Talent - Chercheur" or "Scientifique-chercheur"
- "Talent - Famille" (spouses of researchers only)
- "Recherche d’Emploi ou Création d’Entreprise" or "APS Jeune diplômé"
- "Stagiaire"
- "Jeune au pair"

How to pick up your card?
If you meet the following requirements:- You received your “attestation de décision favorable” more than four (4) weeks ago or your "récépissé" more than eight (8) weeks ago
- Your current residence permit has expired (you cannot collect your new card if the previous one is still valid)
The day of your appointment, bring with you:
- your passport
- your current residence permit
- if you are a student, your certificate of enrollment at the university
- your "attestation de décision favorable" or "récépissé"
- an excise stamp ("timbre fiscal") purchased online or in a tobacco shop ("bureau de tabac"). The total amount depends on your status and appears on your "attestation de décision favorable".
