Grenoble youth hostel

Grenoble’s youth hostel is a member of the United Federation of Youth Hostels (“Fédération Unie des Auberges de Jeunesse” - FUAJ), the French branch of Hostelling International. Membership is mandatory.
The youth hostel is located outside the heart of the city and the campuses, but is served by public transport and offers a range of services (outdoor areas, Wi-Fi access, shared kitchen, etc.).

Hotels and apartment hotels

As a complement to the usual hotel comparison websites, the Grenoble Alpes Métropole and Valence Romans tourist office websites have long lists of suggested accommodation providers (hotels, apartment hotels, holiday homes (“gîtes”), etc.).

Temporary accommodation with CROUS

Are you a student, PhD student or intern, and in need of accommodation for 3 days to 1 month ?
Subject to availability, and upon presentation of proof of enrolment if you are a student, CROUS Grenoble Alpes may be able to offer you temporary accommodation.
But please note that this service is not available between August and November, because applications for accommodation for the complete academic year are processed as a priority during that period.
