Community life and integration
Community life is very active, both within the Université Grenoble Alpes and in town. Hundreds of associations exist in many different fields including art, culture, sport, civic life and humanitarian action.
Several centers and organizations in Grenoble, Annecy and Chambery offer courses, intensive courses and training sessions in French as a foreign language for newcomers, most notably CUEF, a department of Université Grenoble Alpes.
Our campuses and cities enjoy a very rich cultural life: with hundreds of events, a university cultural festival, and many venues dedicated to culture, there is bound to be something for everyone!
Public and university libraries allow a wide variety of documents to be borrowed for information, leisure, educational and cultural purposes. They are also places where people can go to study and meet up with others.
