What is internationalization?

International
It is "the intentional process of integrating an international, intercultural or global dimension into the purpose, functions and delivery of post-secondary education".
This process is implemented "in order to enhance the quality of education and research for all students and staff, and to make a meaningful contribution to society.” This definition was proposed by De Wit H., Hunter F., Howard L. and Egron-Polak E. in 2015.

Thus, the internationalization of the UGA is the expression of a conscious desire to instill an international outlook in its personnel and students through a series of actions including international mobility, foreign language classes, and activities offering introductions to different cultures.
