Visit of a KIT delegation (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)

Thirteen scientists and representatives of the international relations of KIT (Germany) came to visit energy laboratories and research platforms, to participate in a workshop on artificial intelligence and to discuss the evolution of the strategic partnership between our two institutions.
The delegation of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), chaired by Thomas Hirth, Vice President for International Affairs and Valorisation, visited the facilities and discussed with professors and researchers from:
  • Institut National de l'Energie Solaire (INES, CEA)
  • Laboratoire Electrochimie et physicochimie des matériaux et des interfaces (LEPMI)
  • Laboratoire d'Innovation pour les Technologies des Energies Nouvelles et les Nanomatériaux (CEA-Liten)
  • Plateforme “Production Réseau d'Energie DIStribué (PREDIS) - G2ELAB
  • Plateforme “Mécanique, eau et environnement” (M2E)  – ENSE3

During the visit, UGA Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial Intelligence (MIAI) and KIT organized a workshop on artificial intelligence, a strategic theme for both institutions. This workshop brought together around 20 researchers from the MIAI.

The meeting also saw the perfect opportunity for discussions on the partnership's governance.
