UGA international

UGA's specialized multilingual translation program has held the EMT (European Master's in Translation) label since 2009. The MA in Professional Translation at Swansea University was also awarded the label (2009 - 2020)*. This recognition places the Double Degree within a European network that contributes to the development of its excellence in the field of specialized translation.

Through a content designed and built in a double dynamic, this program deploys its best assets to train students who benefit from a first year at Swansea University (SU) and a second year at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA). A linguistic, cultural and academic immersion in a professional perspective in contact with two specialized translation environments: the Master LEA in Multilingual Specialized Translation at UGA and the MA in Professional Translation/MA in Translation and Interpreting at SU. Students enrolled in the double degree program take courses in the TSM program. At the end of their training, students with the required grades are awarded the degree of each university.

Students must submit their application on UGA's eCandidat online platform (information to come on the Foreign Languages UFR website) or on the Swansea University online platform. Applications will be examined by the Joint Study Committee. The results will be communicated at the end of the admission committee.

The program welcomes candidates with a bilingual French-English profile, and a trilingual profile with a third language (German or Spanish).
